فرشتا نہی ایا” by @nasirabbasnayyar
Is a collection of short-stories in Urdu. It’s one of the book that I received in my #first PR package by @sangemeel l ❣It’s categorised into fiction genre, and consist of 17 stories and is divided into two sections first section consist of 6 stories full of suspenseful stories starting from “Abba Ka Sandooq ” till “نامہ حکم”. ❣The second section consist of other short-stories with moral lessons starting from”Shukar Khuda Ka Jisne Hamain Admi Ya Suar Nahi Banaya” till “Teesra Darwaza”. ❣ it’s my second in my native language but it’s my first from this writer but I’m impressed by his writing style the way he encloses a tragic moment and how skillfully he unfolds the twist … It was a difficult read for me as I haven’t read anything in Urdu since 2 years so I found many new words and also found some that were difficult to understand so I read this one infront of my mum so that she can answer the meanings and even I had to use Urdu Dictionary .. But it was worth reading it.. I really enjoyed two stories from this book more as the first one shows the struggle of a son after his father’s death and how he support his family the I loved this story more when Ali opens his father’s Trunk…. And I like the other story because it shows the reality of a human being how we consider ourselves and how actually we are in reality..that a man is enslaved by his brain he only do what he’s told by brain , this story captures a conversation of ants that how they have witnessed the drastic changes in a human being. ❣This book have my heart even it’s a difficult read it first but you’ll get settled by the time being as you move forward, You’ll get to learn many things and it’ll change to perspective on different things as it does mine.

Farishta Nahin Aaya by Nasir Abbas Nayyar reminded me a little bit about the writing style of the legendary Ashfaq Ahmed with his mind-boggling, thought-provoking, philosophical & complicated endings of the stories. This book was a compilation of 17 short stories, all of them were extremely intellectually composed with deep messages. I must admit that some stories were beyond my comprehensive abilities but it was a treat to read them. They were highly engrossing & kept me hooked until the end. I love how exceptionally written these stories were.
These stories make you question your ideas, thoughts, sentiments & the overall inevitability of life. They threw light on human emotions, the carnal instincts of people, the capacity of questioning their realities, the way they deal with others & how they live their lives. They also have a certain sense of mystery, suspense & thrill that will keep the reader anticipating the next phase of the story.
What I loved most about this is the philosophical & metaphorical use of words to describe the phenomenon under consideration. The author has brilliantly penned the bitter truths of life. My favorite stories have to be Farishta Nahin Aaya (the girl’s resilience touched my heart & shattered it into million pieces of how cruel life & humans can be), Naya Hukam Nama (the way it discussed the meaning of words was epic), Kis Ka Naam was truly phenomenal, Khandar ki Takhti was shockingly humorous, Ho Sakta Hai Yeh Khat Aap Ke Naam Ho was heart-wrenching & Kuuwein Sey Katoorey Tak was extremely philosophical but intriguing.
Rest of the stories were beautifully written as well. It is just that you have to focus & broaden your horizon to fully understand them. They will touch your heart nonetheless.
