Rumi requires no introduction. The simplicity of his words hide the depth of their meaning. Rumi has managed to explain the beauty and pain of all sorts of Love throughout every page. He will have you falling in and out of love with the idea of love constantly. I easily went through most of this book in one sitting.
Annemarie Schimmel has translated Rumi’s words beautifully. This book includes illustrations that will enhance your experience. If you’re looking to get into Rumi’s poetry, I believe this is a great introduction.

Rumi was probably the best poet of his time. His best friend and mentor,Shams ignited the poet inside him. This book has been written by Rumi for Shams, largely he mourns over his death as Shams died young. It has been translated by Anniemarie .Poems are beautiful and deep.if anyone wants to read Rumi, this book is great to start with❤
