This is the collection of complete short-story books of Intizar Hussain having all of his written stories which were published in 9 separate books. As this book contains all of his stories which means his best and worst both are in this collection. There can be no argument that for an urdu reader Intizar Hussain is a must read and also his works are international read and liked. But because one wants to read a popular or a classic writer it doesn’t mean that he should read all of his works and also I don’t suggest all of Intizar Hussain books or this complete Majmoha but if you want to know that how a writer grows and makes his work better and better, step by step then this is something for you. This one thousand and one hundred pages book is the journey of his 60 years literary career which you will walk through just in a couple of weeks. You’ll come know facts which you wouldn’t have expected. One notices that not every new story is not a better story or You’ll notice that how the themes of stories change with age of author and situations in his surroundings. How the author experiments and picks new styles and shun old ones. There is a lot more that one can gain by reading an author chronologically, specially a struggling writer by relating things with his or her own journey. But What is mentioned above is general for any writer and for intizar Hussain I will just say that this was the book I wanted to buy from the day I read his first story. I simply wanted to read every single story he had written and now that all of his stories are finished and I can’t read any new one from this author, this mere thaught make me sad, I wish this chain would have never ended. I will surely reread this entire collection and may still wish the same. I just can’t come out of the Tilism of his stories. I wish this collection was double of it’s size but I know that if you’re not fan of Intizar Hussain you wouldn’t wish this and for you I will suggest come specific seperate collections of his stories which you can go for and enjoy. The Best of Intizar Hussain are 1# KACHWAY 2# AAKRI AADMI 3# KALI PINJRA 4# SHERZAD KAY NAAM
